I've been looking to get another portable hard drive and having used LaCie's 80GB Porsche designed drive in the past am leaning in that direction.
However it appears that LaCie is phasing out the Porsche design and has introduced sexy new designs by Sam Hecht.
Additionally I was recently reminded of Iomega and was curious how they may have updated their Zip Disk formats. It appears they are competitively engaged in the hard drive market and stand out due to offering drives (as does LaCie) with both USB and FireWire connections.
I've also looked into SeaGate – Free Agent and Western Digital but they don't appear to have portable drives offering anything other than USB connections.
